What is HECHLER Productions?
HECHLER Productions is an independent production company dedicated to producing high-quality, moderate-cost Live Music Videos, Stills, and Audio Recordings. We also produce high-quality, moderate-cost documentaries and films.
By using new digital and computerized video technologies we can produce broadcast-quality productions quickly and inexpensively. We have built our reputation on delivering creative projects to our clients on time and on budget.
HECHLER Productions is a collaborative effort between visual artists, poets, and musicians working together in the same direction to produce a film or video, while exercising their own specific media.
Through the impressionistic use of color, movement and sound, HECHLER Productions strives to connect with ancient and urban archetypes that speak through the reflection of different psychological and emotional environments. The language of imagery, which is the language of the mind. In this realm, the boundaries of the screen form a canvas for visual poetry, engaging the viewer in a sensory experience and encouraging the imagination to stray.
Who is behind it?
Jeremy Scott Hechler, producer-director and currently a film critic, web designer, and musician with a film production degree in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
What are his artistic roots and influences?
Music and the moving image have always been sources of passion for him. He has spent years doing research on music styles and imagery. Jeremy is mostly influenced by the music styles of progressive rock and metal and working directly with the his own video images and those of others. Most recently, in concepting and writing, his focus has turned to music videos and documentaries as its direct symbolism in the evolution of the mind.
For seven years, Jeremy worked with film production and music concepts giving him direct experience and insight into the many dimensions of the subject. Jeremy is also trained in computer skills, and worked as a freelancer in the film and video production industry for over a year, assisting Producers and also working with makeup, audio, grip, electric, wardrobe, camera, and props. Until, he decided that what he really wanted to do was write and direct. It was the melting of all these phases that built HECHLER Production Services in 1998 and now in 2000, HECHLER Productions.

We have our own professional camera and sound equipment and can supplement with specialty items as required. We have extensive experience in directing, producing, sound and camera and can meet all on-location production needs.
What type of post production facilities do you provide?
We offer complete editing services on our on-line broadcast quality editing system and can output to any format desired. We also offer custom graphics and effects. We're backed uniquely by a fully fledged post facility using the very latest Adobe Premiere with real time Pinnacle 3D effects. Our cameras and VTRS are the very latest professional systems. All of which makes it possible for us to go for quality while giving our clients get the very best value for money.
Do you have any projects in the works?
HECHLER Productions always has projects in the works. Currently, we are focusing on this web page, and a few possible upcoming music festivals.
